Ogbah gets strip-sack and recovery vs. Baylor
The difference for the Cowboys this year is they have been able to play defense, or at least what passes for defense, in the Big 12. The SEC, as a collective, is taking on Idaho, The Citadel, Charlotte, Florida Atlantic, Charleston Southern and Georgia Southern.

To be fair, the Bears and Cowboys do not have a prolific rivalry.
Question: Does the fact that the Big 12 have four teams within the Top 15 in the CFB Playoff rankings (despite teams’ intentions of picking each other off) make the conference look like a suitable expansion fit for any team looking for an in to a Power 5?
But this isn’t about the SEC, which has a Carl Lewis-like track record of proving itself in the end. Adams, in particular, looked like the difference-maker OR fans had hoped for when he threw for 205 yards and two touchdowns on just 12 attempts. Peterson had an impressive game last season against 2015 top 10 pick Kevin White from West Virginia as he held him to only 3 catches for 27 yards. There’s plenty on the line for these two teams as whoever loses will most likely be knocked from contention in the division.
Baylor and Texas Christian stand in the way of perhaps the biggest Bedlam matchup ever.
The college football playoff picture has begun to emerge over the last few weeks.
Yet, the Big 12 sat on its hands.
And again, it might work. Both teams have rivalry games next week so there will not be much celebrating for the victor. Other one loss teams who could theoretically still get involved include TCU and North Carolina. In addition, two Baylor defensive backs – Orion Stewart and Terrell Burt – are iffy to play. To me it’s more like wildcard weekend. They’ve finally figured out that using Semaje Perine a lot is probably a good idea and Baker Mayfield is a Heisman candidate. The Sooners state is the site for three big games, all with major postseason implications. Despite having a flawless record, Oklahoma State barely won against Iowa State last week by a score of 35-31. Following his performance of 28 rushes for 166 yards and two touchdowns last week against Baylor, Perine has amassed 552 yards and nine touchdowns over the last four games (138-yard average). Averaging 5.4 yards per carry, Green should become TCU’s first 1,000-yard rusher since Ed Wesley in 2010.
Spread: Oklahoma State is favored by one point. They didn’t play that bad against Oklahoma. With a win here and a win next week against the Cowboys, don’t be surprised if the Sooners come out as Big 12 champions.
Notre Dame now owns a Sagarin SOS of 25, compared with 44 for Oklahoma.
-No. 11 TCU at No. 7 Oklahoma: Both teams are fighting to stay alive in the Big 12 title race.
The Big 12’s problem may be how attrition factors into the process.
Baylor is down to their third string quarterback.
Johnson says he took no repetitions with the first team in practice, and admitted that his best day as a Baylor player before this was one that included a meaningless catch for 20 yards earlier this season against Rice.
We have only one year in the new system to gauge how the committee thinks.

The moral of the story is that we know as little with three weeks remaining in the season than we did after the first three weeks.
