Charlie Sheen discussed being blackmailed by people who knew the status of his health before revealing he is HIV-positive in a Today show interview with Matt Lauer this week.

Describing the United States actor’s revelation as “significant”, Australian Federation of AIDS Organisations executive director Rob Lake also praised the way the health aspects of HIV were discussed during Sheen’s NBC interview. “He said, no, this was his and his alone”, the actor told the Naples Daily News of his 50-year-old son on Tuesday, November 17.
Celebrity website TMZ said a prominent Los Angeles lawyer had told it that six women contacted him after the discosures, and he has appointments with four more.
“Not after today I’m not”, Sheen replied.
“I hope he shines a light on a lot of the people that are struggling with those same issues that don’t have the resources”, she said.
The actor’s manager, Mark Burg, claimed there was “no reason” for Sheen to tell his former live-in “Goddess” about being HIV-positive since he wasn’t infected when they were together, People magazine wrote in an exclusive report Tuesday.
“It’s up and down”, she said of her current relationship with Sheen. “And he kept backing away and backing away, because it was like going to his own execution, I guess”.
Asked by the host if she thought having sex with Sheen was “like playing Russian roulette”, Bruce replied, “I think the real Russian roulette comes with not coming forward about conditions for have or having unprotected sex frequently with partners”.
Asked how much he had spent he replied: “Jeez I don’t want to get wrong but enough to bring it into the millions”.
Sheen, who was appearing at a panel event with House of Cards actor Kevin Spacey, said he felt “a great sense of relief” his son had chosen to make his public admission. “After a battery of tests, they walked in the room and said, ‘Boom, here is what’s going on.’ It’s a hard three letters to absorb”.

As we’ve reported… our sources say Charlie has paid several settlements to sexual partners who said they were NOT warned ahead of time.
