Voter tells Hillary Clinton he wants to strangle Carly Fiorina

I don’t even take umbrage with Mrs. Clinton.

At a Hillary Clinton campaign rally in New Hampshire, one of the attendees made a comment about wanting to “strangle” Carly Fiorina.

Clinton, speaking in Nashua, N.H., said she would look at renewing executive actions on climate change, pursue legislation to address the problem and set up the next phase of global negotiations on the subject during her first weeks in office.

The New Jersey governor responded to a tweet from Clinton in support of Obamacare during Tuesday’s Fox Business Network debate.

Earlier in the segment, co-host Paula Faris said, “We held Carly Fiorina to a certain standard and expected her to stop that voter in his or her tracks …”

But Clinton didn’t back down from previous remarks bashing Republicans, who she says want to put veterans at the mercy of the private insurance market.

“Today we are failing to keep faith with our veterans”, Clinton said.

Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill later told a CNN reporter, “You were there”.

Because of the comment at the Clinton event, and Clinton’s lack of an admonishment, the Republican National Committee went so far as to charge that Clinton and Democrats had “lost all credibility claiming to be a party that stands up for women”. When she was asked how she would fix the healthcare system set up to help the nation’s veterans, the Democratic frontrunner blamed Republicans for using the VA for political gain. She shook her head, suggesting she wasn’t going to engage with the question.

It would be a stretch to interpret Clinton laughing at a joke about strangling a woman as a few sort of tacit endorsement of domestic violence, though had the joke been about her, Clinton and her allies would no doubt attempt it.

Clinton, along with many people in the room, laughed.

He added, “She told us it was for cost-cutting”.

At the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Derry, Clinton also called for better access to health care for the growing number of women veterans. She said she was concerned about calls by Republicans to privatize VA services “because I do not believe that will work”.
