Jennifer Lawrence driven to keep working

That statement isn’t entirely true in regards to Mockingjay – Part 2, as it is a better and much more entertaining movie than Mockingjay – Part 1, although that isn’t saying a lot. Sony has yet to reveal the Thursday gross for R-rated Seth Rogen comedy “The Night Before”, but the raunchy Christmas movie co-starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anthony Mackie is expected to make $15 million over the weekend. I’m not a fan of films based on books that split up one book into two movies.

As reported by Comingsoon.Net, the final installment of “The Hunger Games” franchise was disappointment, especially in comparison to the previous movies of the franchise.

Mockingjay Part 2 wraps up the story of Katniss Everdeen and the rebellion of the citizens of Panem against the Capitol.

Lawrence stars in the lead as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games movies, which are often referred to when arguing that action films with women at the centre can be box office smashes.

However, according to Francis Lawrence, who has occupied the director’s chair since the series’ second entry, Catching Fire, the events of Mockingjay – Part 2 may be the end of Katniss’ story, but it is far from the full story. “Josh and Liam got very codependent towards wrapping and we would change call times and ride the same vehicle and we just would not be anywhere apart”, Jennifer said.

“So it was this fantastic closure to this character whom I’ve loved for so many years”. The first film in the franchise had a production budget of $78 million. A new report from Yahoo indicates Lawrences hesitation to helm a prequel story to the current Hunger Games continuity. “I just tried to keep working”, she observes, “so that people could see other characters and other things that I could do, instead of taking vacation time”.
