NEW DELHI: In a Reddit AMAA (Ask Me nearly Anything) session, OnePlus has revealed a few key features of its upcoming flagship smartphone.

First off, the Chinese phone-maker confirmed that the OnePlus 2 will feature a 3300mAh battery. That’s more than just a OnePlus One – it’s a OnePlus One on top of a OnePlus 2, showing that the new phone will be both narrower and shorter than its predecessor.
The biggest confirmation was in the battery department as the team claim it’s going to last 10% longer and will be upgraded to a 3,300mAh cell – the original had a 3,100mAh cell.
When launched, OnePlus 2 will be sold through the company’s invite-only model with improved invite system.
As a teaser, OnePlus has released some videos where the fans talk about what they like most about the OnePlus, as spotted by TechnoBuffalo. To show this, the company posted an image of a wooden back OnePlus One and mentioned that the device had the OnePlus 2 under it (image above), suggesting that the handset would be thinner and shorter as well.
The startup is most proud of the upcoming device’s design and build, though it still wouldn’t say whether metal was used or not.
One of the only drawbacks of the OnePlus One was the need for an invitation to be able to purchase the phone, with demand far outripping supplies.

The OnePlus 2 has been confirmed as having an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip, 4 GB of RAM, a fingerprint scanner, and a USB Type-C connector. The StyleSwap cover comes only in bamboo finish and costs Rs. Of the three different models leaked, one is said to be for China. Reportedly the company is working on an app for the launch that would let anyone view the unveiling, Cardboard or no Cardboard. “Then, after the event finishes, a recording will be uploaded to YouTube, enabling even people who don’t have an Android device to watch it”. Now in the latest news, a new touch screen bug has been discovered that appears to completely disable the OnePlus One.
