On Saturday night, a Palestinian attacker stabbed four people in southern Israel.
The military said the woman pulled out a knife at the entrance to a military base and began approaching civilians at the spot.
Fifteen Israelis and more than 80 Palestinians – many of them attackers – have been killed in the violence.
No Israelis were reported seriously injured in the first two attacks, but the third led to the death of 20-year-old Hadar Bukris, who was taken to hospital with major stab wounds to her head and chest.
Eighteen Israelis and others have died, along with 80 Palestinians, in a wave of violence over the past seven weeks.
Israel says the current spate of violence is due to a Palestinian campaign of lies and incitement surrounding the sensitive holy site.
Thursday’s Tel Aviv attack, inside an expansive office building in the middle of the day, in particular stoked Israeli fears that a full-fledged Palestinian uprising could erupt.
The bloodshed has been driven in part by Muslim agitation over stepped-up Jewish visits to a contested Jerusalem shrine, and by long-deadlocked talks on a U.S.-sponsored peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians.
The Israeli military raided a Palestinian radio station in Hebron and confiscated equipment it said was being used to boradcast calls to attack Israelis. Gen. Yoav Mordechai and Palestinian Minister of Civil Affairs Hussen al-Sheikh signed an agreement granting Palestinian mobile carriers 3G high-speed data services in the West Bank.
During those meetings, Kerry is expected to discuss ways to ease the violence by improving conditions on the ground.
A total of 547 Palestinian children were killed by Israel during last year’s onslaught against the Gaza Strip.

The statement said all children captured by Israeli troops were subjected to different types of torture and forced to make confession through physical and verbal coercion.
