Trump condemned over U.S. ‘Muslim database’ call
“Listen, I like Donald Trump”. Don’t get me wrong, Carson says all the right insane, stupid things they want to hear, has the flimsy understanding of foreign policy that they crave, but he lacks the volume to reassure them. Ted Cruz, R-Tx., for recently proposing that the USA only take in Christian refugees, and Ben Carson, for recently comparing Syrian refugees to “rabid dogs”.

Behind Carson, Rubio took 19 percent, Trump scored 17 percent and Cruz received 14 percent in Colorado. Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, meanwhile, is moving closer to the top.
Thirty-six percent said the attacks had no bearing. Of Carson, one of these insiders says that voters wouldn’t go for his Mr. Rogers-like personality.
Donald Trump leads the race for the Republican nomination in New Hampshire, while Bernie Sanders edges Hillary Clinton among Democrats.
In a YouGov/CBS News poll last month, Trump and Carson were tied with 27% support each among voters in the Hawkeye State. A Seventh-day Adventist, Carson regularly shares how his beliefs have shaped his life and his politics.
Trump, on the other hand, has been “almost dismissive” of religion, Burbank said.
In a Romney-less world, Trump is their top choice to handle that issue.
The rebukes came Friday after Trump voiced support for a mandatory database for Muslims in the USA while campaigning in Iowa the previous day. “I just don’t know about”. “That’s not strength. That’s weakness”, Bush said.
“Leaders in the House and Senate won’t even allow a vote on whether we should prevent people on the no-fly list from buying guns, including possible terrorists. That’s a quality Utahns value”.
“If there is a rabid dog running around your neighborhood, you’re probably not going to assume something good about that dog”, Carson said Thursday at a campaign event in Mobile, Alabama, Reuters reported.
A new poll, released on Thursday, indicates GOP primary voters have not shifted their opinions about who should become the nominee, despite the attacks in Paris.
“I’m not shocked by it (the Paris attack)”, said Scott James, 38, a health teacher and not-strong Republican favoring Carson.
“Such a proposal is not only inimical to our cherished civil liberties, but it also wildly misses the goal of finding a rational balance between civil liberties and the security measures necessary to protect those liberties”.
“I think we should have a database on everyone who comes into this country”, the retired neurosurgeon told reporters from the New Hampshire statehouse Friday, adding later, “Hopefully, we already have a database on every citizen who is already here”.
On Carson, 43 percent of voters said he was ready to lead, while 38 said no.
“There are many people who would like Romney to jump into the race”, Jones said. “But they’re getting convinced he’s not going to. Therefore, they’re really waiting to see who he officially endorses”. Hooper said. “There’s no other comparison, and he seems to think that’s perfectly OK”.
“Trump voters are exceedingly low-information voters”, they wrote.

While not disavowing his earlier call for a Muslim registry, Trump said he wanted a database of Syrian refugees entering the country to guard against “the great Trojan Horse of all time”. “Carson is satisfying a lot of people”.
