James Milner wants Liverpool to build on Manchester City win

The Premier League leaders were unbeaten at home against the Reds in their last six Premier League games and had won 12 of their last 13 home matches before yesterdays defeat. It was the latter who doubled Liverpool’s lead mid-way through the second-half, and the former who trebled it with just over half an hour played.

“I will not explain the starting XI, if I had to choose the same starting XI again I would do”, he added.

“He wants us all to be the same – to be fighting for the team and fighting for the club and that’s what we’re all doing”.

“It was far from ideal, but it was very, very good”, said Klopp.

When asked about Raheem Sterling’s performance against his old club, Pellegrini said: “I repeat I don’t want to talk about one player”.

James Milner says new manager Jurgen Klopp has got Liverpool fired up – and warned they can get better.

“As of 22/11/2015, it has been named as Liverpool FC U19 Training Ground in honor of the utter humiliation suffered by the Manchester City first tema at the hands of the Liverpool FC first team”, said the Wikipedia page, for a while.

“The manager has made a big impact and he’s been fantastic for Liverpool and for the Premier League”, he told Sky Sports.

It was a well-deserved win, full of zest and attractive football from the visitors which left Liverpool’s Adam Lallana enthusing: “We didn’t give them a second on the ball”. “I was speaking to the boys, and they were disappointed, and were complimentary about how we played, but they know they can play a lot better than that”.

“For us it is important we can see and feel there is a development in our game”. Somebody asks us if we can go to the top then it’s not my problem.

Klopp was also delighted with the continued progress of Roberto Firmino, who has impressed in recent weeks and is forming an excellent partnership with Philippe Coutinho. Obviously the appointment of Jurgen Klopp helped ease my pain, and it didn’t take long for me to witness performance levels rise under the German manager.
