It was confirmed last month that an official Pepsi Phone would be coming in the near future and after much speculation, it has finally been unveiled.

The Pepsi P1s is manufactured by Shenzhen Scooby Communication Equipment Co. and is aiming squarely at the middle of the market with a phone that sports a few decent specs even if it’s not going to break any records.

Pepsi P1 runs MT6592 octa-core processor and comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage space.

The fundraising goal is set for about US$470,000 (RM2mil) by Dec 3.

The Pepsi Phone will be available in Silver, Gold and Blue; we’re surprised that there’s no red version. It also features a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p display screen, with 2.5D curved glass.

Furthermore, the Pepsi Phone will reportedly come with a touch fingerprint sensor at its back.

Through Koobee’s crowdfunding campaign, the company is offering the Pepsi Phone in two variants: there’s the P1 with TD-LTE and TD-SCDMA radios for China Mobile, and the second one is the P1s with extra FDD-LTE plus to WCDMA radios for China Unicom and ROW.

The remainder of the Pepsi phone resembles the H7:13 mpg f/2.0 camera, 5 mpg camera in front, 3,000mAh battery, microSD expansion and provision for dual SIM.
