Clinton Proposes Caregiving Tax Credit
Sanders also talked up his support of a plan to expand Social Security benefits by increasing taxes paid into the program by those who earn more than $250,000 a year.

Hillary Clinton said in SC on Saturday that she is willing to split apart big financial institutions should the need arise. “I will not deny, if the election were held today, we would lose”.
An outline of her proposal states that “Clinton believes that it is time to give these caregiving families a tax cut”.
The caregiver proposal is part of a series of tax proposals geared at the middle class that Clinton is rolling out. “Well, I don’t want to see your taxes go up; I want to see your health-care costs go down”.
The front-runner told Democrats gathered at a rally in North Charleston that she has the “toughest” proposals for dealing with Wall Street. They occasionally interjected with exhortations to “tax the rich” or protestations that corporate executives are “talking all our money”. Republicans have accused her of minimizing the problems found inside the Veterans Affairs health care system.
The campaign says the assistance would phase out for people with higher incomes. The union is at the forefront of the push to increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour, which Sanders has endorsed but not Clinton.
Clinton has previously called for the extension of the American Opportunity Tax Credit to help with college affordability and the creation of a new tax credit to help people deal with the rising out-of pocket healthcare costs. “For a number of African-Americans, the church is more than just a house of worship it is a place where they go to get the news most pertinent to them, discuss the issues they are facing in their neighborhoods and the catalyst for real change”. “I am a United States senator from the state of Vermont”, he began at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
During his remarks to the crowd, Sanders also reiterated his support for legislation pending in Congress that would mandate that employers provide three months of paid leave after a family has a child. The tax break targets families “paying for, coordinating, or providing care for aging or disabled family members”, according to a Clinton campaign aide.
