Microsoft on Wednesday revamped its Bing app for iPhone in an attempt to get more users on board. Just by using the unified search and deep links, Bing brings you content as search results from across all apps on your device. It could benefit from better explanation as to why an app may need access to something, but Google would have to rely heavily on developers to provide these explanations. In the latest version of Google’s operating system, Android 6.0, the company focused on increasing battery life with a feature called “Doze” which “reduces battery consumption by deferring background CPU and network activity for apps when the device is unused for long periods of time”. Presently in English, Google promises to release it in other languages as well soon – French, Spanish, and other languages. Microsoft integrates the search results within the iOS platform so that users can get access to specific options when they do a search.
