Just last week, as the family produced an early Christmas for Carr, the MI and Ohio State basketball staffs combined to hire a company to decorate the Carr house in lights. According to the Detroit News, both the Buckeyes and Spartans will wear #ChadTough decals on their helmets for their matchup Saturday.

“Prior to UM’s game 48-41 double-overtime win November 14 at IN, Michigan’s players wrote individual messages such as “#CHADTOUGH” on the backs of their helmets IN honor of Chad Carr, the grandson of former UM coach Lloyd Carr.

She told The Ann Arbor News that Chad’s legacy would not be in his death, but in the difference that the Chad Tough Foundation can make in saving lives in the future.

“We have an awesome support system and we are so very grateful to all of you”.
