Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio said while the focus should be on Arab military forces, America does need a military presence to help them in the fight.
“Waterboarding is “peanuts” compared to what they do to us”, Trump said on ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday morning.
These aren’t disgruntled or dis-empowered people, Rubio says.
At a Frank Luntz moderated GOP presidential forum in Iowa this weekend, Rubio again used the attacks in Paris to setup the narrative of a “civilizational clash” between the West and jihadists.
The Rubio campaign says in a statement on Sunday that the 30-second ad will air nationwide, beginning Tuesday. “Because it is the most important thing a president will do and it is the most important function of the federal government”. Just 18 percent of Americans do not think such an attack is likely to occur.
“The United States is the ultimate prize in their mind”, he said.
While discussing polling with host Chris Wallace on the, Rubio told viewers he believed the terrorist attacks resulted in a “positive development” in that they influenced Americans to become more concerned about terrorism. These are radical terrorists who want to kill us.

“As far as national security, let me just say, I obviously am not happy about the events that happened last week in Paris”, Rubio said. There’s additionally a perception in that the Rubio marketing campaign’s organization isn’t as much as snuff – or no less than by comparison to the Texas senator’s strong network of support.
