Mark Cuban’s F-Bombs for Charity

Mark Cuban doesn’t surprise anyone anymore. The Mavericks billionaire owner taunts refs courtside, curses DeAndre Jordan and says he could beat Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton in a presidential election.

Apparently, Cuban let a big ol’ F-bomb fly at the start of the game, and when approached about it afterwards, he made a decision to double down. Cuban was part of a team team participating in a League of Legends show match against Intel CEO Brian Krzanich in San Jose on Saturday, and evidently dropped an F-bomb as part of a few friendly pre-game trash talk.

Cuban’s trouble began during an interview prior to the match, when he said that Colin Cowherd, the ESPN announcer who drew gamers’ ire earlier this year when he said he’d rather quit his job than cover esports, “is an idiot when it comes to esports”.

“I’ve played three [times]”, he said. “But I’m f***ing smart”. After the match had ended, Cuban was informed that he had been fined $15,000 for his inappropriate language, with the money going to anti-cyberbullying charity Cybersmile. Naturally, Cuban took this as an opportunity to invest more money.

“So if I say it again I have to pay another $15,000?” he said, to which the host asked if he wanted to up it to $30,000.
