Trump Supporters, Black Lives Matter Protester Clash At Rally
At least twice over the weekend Donald Trump insisted thousands of Arabs cheered on September 11, 2001 when the Twin Towers fell to the ground, killing thousands.

Video from a Donald Trump rally in Birmingham, Alabama appears to show a Black Lives Matter activist being pushed and kicked by supporters as Trump urges him to be taken out of the convention center. “And I watched in Jersey City, New Jersey, where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down”.
That’s one of the reasons Trump mistrusts Syrian refugees or Muslim refugees of any kind. Even though Trump’s own campaign said that it doesn’t advocate that behavior, Trump later suggested that the man “should have been roughed up”. “Get him the hell out of here”.
“George, it did happen”, Trump persisted. “They were cheering as the World Trade Center came down…”
I don’t know if you caught that, but in talking with Stephanopoulos, he was no longer saying thousands and thousands were cheering, he was just saying there were people cheering.
It’s very hard to find evidence of that.
Trump was incensed at this disturbance, lamenting that this will be reported as a picket. But the same report said those reports were unfounded.
No arrests were made and the protester did not require medical attention, Birmingham Police Lt. Sean Edwards told CNN.
In a statement, Jersey City Mayor Fulop criticized Trump for his statements.

While rumors have circulated on the internet for years that American Muslims celebrated the attacks in Paterson, New Jersey, police officials and religious leaders denied it at the time.
