And after three and a half years of development, the Broncos hope that Osweiler is now ready for a week – and a game – that comes on his 25th birthday, and will be unlike any other in his career. After replacing Manning against the Chiefs, he connected on 14 of 24 passes for 146 yards with one TD, one interception and a 72.6 passer rating. Kansas City and Oakland still must play each other twice, while the Broncos have two left against the two-win Chargers. “To be out there with those guys on that field and gain those reps, gain that experience and build that camaraderie with those guys was huge”.
