Amazon has kicked of the Black Friday shopping bonanza with 7,000 deals available from today – five days earlier than the official sale day falls. Even those traveling on Thanksgiving Day had to make sure they fueled up the day before because many gas stations were closed.
“Last year, total holiday sales from the Amazon Mobile Shopping App doubled in the US and Black Friday had the most rapid growth in mobile shopping”, Amazon said in a news release, according to CNN Money. Costco warehouses are closed so that their employees can spend the day with their families.

Kmart: Customers will have early access to online Black Friday doorbusters starting Saturday, November 21. It is offering £26 million worth of discounts throughout November and December, though most of these deals are not for tech products; remember, Black Friday covers virtually all products, even if the emphasis is mainly on tech. Customers can find these deals on the app daily from 3:00 p.m. PT (6:00 pm EST) to 11:00 p.m. PT (1:00 am EST) starting on Thanksgiving until Dec 9. Walmart also has a store map online to help plan your Thanksgiving Day shopping trip. If there are not enough items in stock, Walmart will guarantee pick up of the item before Christmas at the Black Friday pricing. “We still have a lot of people who want to shop on Thanksgiving evening, and our stores want to open their doors and welcome those shoppers”.
