Justin Bieber album smashes Spotify record
Here are Justin Bieber’s 17 songs on the latest Hot 100 (including 13 debuts, also a one-week record for one artist). In February, Drake’s album collected a total of 535,000 units. Popular tunes from the album were released earlier this year, including Where Are You Now, the singer’s collaboration with producers Skrillex and Diplo.

Not very far behind but definitely lagging, the British boy band has sold 459,000 copies of its album, Rolling Stone reported.
Many expect that objective will top the US album charts, as Bieber’s loyal legion of fans have clearly shown their support for the Canadian singer’s attempt to get back into his music and shed the bad boy image. However, this is the first time that the “X-Factor” borne group had a finish other than being on the no. 1 spot. Well, that the power of One Direction is unrivalled on their home turf.
Justin Bieber in Oslo, Norway on October 29, 2015. Only two of his tracks, “My World” and “My World Acoustic”, did not make it to the cut.
Even more impressively, three of Bieber’s 17 songs are in the top five: “Sorry” (No. 2), “Love Yourself” (No. 4), and “What Do You Mean” (No. 5).
Adele’s 25 has already sold at least 2.3 million in pure album sales in the USA, according to Nielsen Music, and she’s poised to top close to three million before the official chart is released over the weekend (29Nov15).
Spotify said that Made in the A.M. also beat The Weeknd’s previous record but did not match Bieber.

As album sales have dropped drastically due to the rise in online streaming, it’s increasingly rare for an artist to top 1 million copies sold in the first week.
