Black Friday, the traditional day the holiday season kicks off is becoming more and more cannibalized by the holiday sales that are starting earlier in November and last well beyond the doorbuster hours during the past.

The list posted in Pocket-Lint.com gives details on a few of the noteworthy deals from stores like Target and Staples. Most – about 96 percent – of deals offered the holiday will be offered both online – starting at 3:01 a.m. E.T. on Thanksgiving morning – and in stores – starting at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Every major retailer including Walmart, Amazon, Target, Best Buy, Apple, and Game Stop have Black Friday ads that they release.
JC Penney started opening Thanksgiving Day a year ago, while Target has opened since 2012 on Turkey Day.
Target Corp. said it would open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving, the same time as last year after several years of moving the opening earlier into the Thursday holiday versus the historic Friday kickoff. That’s less than half the usual $279 retail price at other stores.
Even as it spreads out deals, the company came up with a promotion to entice shoppers to stores on Black Friday itself.
Sam’s ClubSam’s Club will open at 7 a.m. on Black Friday.
“Digital stores are open 24/7, so I think that perhaps as retailers have developed more confidence in their online operations, they also have the confidence to not go overboard in their holiday operating hours at their physical locations”, said Carol Spieckerman, a strategist at Spieckerman Retail.
Black Friday 2015, one of the biggest shopping days in the United States, is right around the corner.
Kohl’s deals include a $299 Microsoft Xbox One Lego Movie bundle, which saves you about $50.

Walmart has not officially released the Black Friday sale flyer on its website, only on its app, in an attempt to entice shoppers to download it, but we’ve got you covered.
