Joe Flacco, Justin Forsett will miss next Monday night’s game against Browns

The win, however, came at a huge cost.

Now that Flacco is out for the remainder of the season with a torn ACL and MCL, Harbaugh will look to his backup quarterback for the first time in his coaching career. Allen will now have a bigger opportunity as the primary back with Forsett out for the season with a broken right arm.

Per Frontline’s database, there have been 108 reported concussions in the National Football League this season, but it’s anyone’s guess as to how many go unreported and undiagnosed week-to-week.

“It’s tough”, Flacco said. He continued, “I felt a lot of crunches and stuff like that”. Baltimore kept the ball on the ground until the attempt by Tucker, who had just missed a 51-yard attempt on the previous drive.

“I’ve been really fortunate”, Flacco said. “We just have to see what we can do and get back as quick as possible”.

Indeed, it was fairly miserly for the offense of both sides as the pair combined for just 11 first downs and 212 yards before half time, but it was the Rams who got the only touchdown in that time when Todd Gurley burrowed his way over from a yard out.

Johnny Manziel had to contend wit Ben Roethlisberger, who’s 18-2 against the Browns, in his last start, but he won’t face Joe Flacco, who’s 13-2 against the Browns, in his next one on Monday Night Football.

In a statement released Monday, the league said, “Promptly after the conclusion of yesterday’s game, we began a review to determine the facts of the injury to St. Louis quarterback Case Keenum and why he was not removed from the game for the necessary evaluation by a team physician or the unaffiliated neuro-trauma consultant as required by our concussion protocols”.

Forsett tweeted that he was having surgery Monday afternoon, and coach John Harbaugh said that while he hasn’t been given a prognosis, he doesn’t expect Forsett to miss more than this season. “We’ll bounce back. That’s what you do”. Baltimore tied a franchise high by recovering four fumbles. He had two touchdown passes on Sunday to help the Texans to a 24-17 win over the Jets, giving the team three wins in a row for the first time since 2012.

Forsett was stopped for a 5-yard loss on a first-and-10 from the St. Louis 41.

Still under center for the next snap, Keenum threw an incomplete pass, and then got sacked and fumbled on the following play, which allowed the Ravens to kick a game-winning field goal.

“I don’t see how they make that call at that point in the game like that”. Everybody screwed up, the spotter, the officials and Rams head coach Jeff Fisher. “You lose five, six of our top players, our leaders”.

Replacement quarterback Case Keenum wasn’t able to spark an improvement at Baltimore, going 12 for 26 for 136 yards.

But on Sunday, no one had Keenum properly checked off the field until after the game – when the concussion was confirmed. Welker also returned a punt for 10 yards as the Ravens tried to stay away from Tavon Austin.
