West Ham boss Bilic: Tottenham players wanted
Harry Kane scores the third goal for Tottenham, and his second, to lead the Spurs to a 4-1 win over West Ham United.

Defenders Toby Alderweireld and Kyle Walker also struck to ensure a victory that lifts Mauricio Pochettino’s side to within four points of leaders Leicester, Manuel Lanzini’s late consolation the only blot.
It was a ploy Pochettino dabbled with at the start of the season; but Dembele’s strength and guile through the middle has been a key factor behind Tottenham’s impressive start. We created a few opportunities around there box but we just need a bit more quality.
“It is step by step”.
Tottenham were two up at half-time but it could have been more given they missed a number of early chances, including Kane scuffing wide when sent through one-on-one with Adrian.
Kane made the most of James Tomkins’s stray pass on the edge of the box to rifle home his fourth goal in six outings. “Fantastic, fantastic”, Pochettino said. For the rest, it was one of the best games of the season.
“We have played a few very aggressive football, we get stuck in, we get about, and I think we are a team most others don’t want to play against”. We are in a period that we feel very proud of.
West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is looking for his side to bounce back against West Brom after the defeat to Tottenham on Sunday. “It is impossible to bring 20 or 30 players in”, Pochettino said.
“We are the youngest team in the Premier League but it is not about your age but belief”.
The first goal came as Heung-Min Song, making his first start for two months having recovered from injury, pushed the ball inside to Alli whose shot was blocked but it ricocheted to Kane who superbly rolled Carl Jenkinson to then fire high into the roof of the net.
“It’s a lot of things in his head”.
“We need to keep working hard and stay with our feet on the ground”. He has a strong character and in every fight he’s always inside (involved)! It was 3-0 when he got this yellow card, but he’s young.
Bilic said the extent to which his team had been outplayed had come as a “shock” and he urged his players to shake the game out of their system in time for next week’s clash with West Bromwich Albion.
