Governor Says Video Is Inconclusive
Dayton will meet with representatives of Black Lives Matter and Neighborhoods Organizing for Change in December to address their concerns, he said in the statement. The protesters are demanding the release of all video footage which could shed light on the incident.

Protesters have said for a week that videos like the one Dayton watched will prove Clark was cuffed, and demand they be released.
In his statement, Dayton said “I will urge that the tapes be provided to the family and released to the public, as soon as doing so will not jeopardize the Department of Justice’s investigation”.
Local activists say the shooters in the attacks were the same white supremacists who had previously threatened them, but the identities of the shooters have not yet been confirmed by authorities.
In that vein, the governor said he asked state investigators to let him see this video clip, which was recorded by a camera on an ambulance that had responded to the scene, according to MPR News.
Gov. Mark Dayton told reporters Monday that he’s seen video from the ambulance camera running during the Jamar Clark shooting and that it does not confirm either side’s allegations of what happened.
Protesters have been demonstrating outside a Minneapolis police station since Clark was shot during a struggle with officers who were answering an assault complaint last Sunday.
A key issue during their visit will be whether authorities should release to the public videos of the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Jamar Clark a week ago.
Dayton declined to elaborate on the nature of Clark’s encounter with officers, and would not go into more detail as to what he saw on the tape.
Protests are continuing in Minneapolis over the fatal shooting of a black man by a police officer.
Protesters say videos like the one Dayton watched will prove Clark was cuffed.
Laddea said he wants justice not only for Clark, but for all cases of police brutality.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating the shooting and a federal criminal civil rights investigation is also underway. Its my responsibility to know the situation that Im dealing with.
Nekima Levy-Pounds, president of the Minneapolis NAACP chapter, said in a statement posted on Facebook that the governor’s comments reinforce “the public’s need to see the videotape for themselves and to draw their own conclusions, rather than relying upon the perspective of one government official who is not a trained expert in this field”. Such investigations involve looking into whether police intentionally violated a person’s civil rights through excessive force. Protesters are camped outside the 4th Precinct in north Minneapolis, refusing to leave until the footage is made public. Tensions cooled during the weekend, following a few intense confrontations last week. McKnight says Clark’s family hopes there are no rallies on the day of the funeral. The Police Department is working to identify suspects.

The service will be at Shiloh Temple global Ministries in Minneapolis at noon Wednesday, with visitation for two hours before the funeral begins.
