They are in the air, flying everywhere. “They all on the house, on the side of the windows”, Lewis told WMC.

Memphis Zoo curator Steve Reichling told United Press worldwide there is nothing to worry about, as very few spider species in the United States are poisonous, and those that are don’t propagate in large numbers. We suggest that everyone in America move north and begin barricading themselves in, to protect themselves from the inevitable spider uprising. This is now a good sign, indicating that these spiders are living in harmony with nature in that location, as a telltale sign of a healthy ecosystem. They are struggling to keep the spiders out of their homes. “Never seen nothing like this before”, resident Frances Ward said on Friday.
‘There are kids running around.
“If you suspect that you have a spider bite, contact your primary care physician”, the Center writes. “We been killing spiders for about an hour now”, Debra Lewis told WMC Action News 5 of her neighbor’s house.
The latest incident could be linked to recent reports of sightings of web-like fibers falling from the sky by residents in certain areas of Texas, Arizona and Ohio. The web now just makes them more noticeable.
A giant web covered grass and roads for half-a-mile. The residents, instead, are giving the spiders the proverbial “cold shoulder” and are treating them with a frosty disdain, preferring the town to come up with a way to rid their neighborhood of the millions of eight-legged unwelcome guests. Harmless or not, would you want to live around that many spiders? “The spiders decide collectively that it’s time to leave that area”, he said.
Apart from this sheet weaving method, the spiders from the Linyphiidae family are also famous for their ballooning behavior where the arachnids travel thousands of miles to migrate, using a silken parachute that will be caught by winds.

Despite the hazy ID, Reichart can say for sure that these spiders aren’t unsafe – an apparent lack of pincers or teeth indicate that these little spiders would be totally incapable of piercing the skin.
