Charles and Camilla are on a 12-day tour Down Under and will travel to the Canberra and other major Australia cities after their tour of New Zealand.

The prince and duchess began their Australian tour by visiting the small town of Tanunda where Charles was reminded of the night he took the hand of a Balmoral maid and led her onto the dance floor during a Scottish ball.
Tuheitia’s royal family live at the Turangawaewae built in a picturesque setting on the banks of the river Waikato.
Charles spoke about the trip in 1994 – when tribe of the region was due to conclude a land claim settlement with the government.
Charles and Camilla walked through ANZAC Square to meet fans waiting out in the cold weather just to get a glimpse of the couple.
He arrived in Australia from New Zealand, whose premier John Key is pushing to drop the Union Jack from the flag, arguing it is a symbol of the country’s colonial past.
“It’s long overdue and now we have a republican as prime minister, a republican as leader of the opposition, I’m certainly keen and look forward with Malcolm Turnbull, to working with him to provide much needed momentum”, said Shorten.
When she met Charles, Mrs Smith, who emigrated from the United Kingdom to New Zealand 50 years ago, was clutching a few of her royal correspondence from the Prince’s office and a picture of the royal couple sent by Clarence House to mark her 60th wedding anniversary in 2014.
The prince and his entourage then left the wharf for Whenuapai.
She said: “I am a red wine drinker”.
“I just happened to be walking around here but I’m moderately excited”.
“Your Royal Highness, lands that you passed through this morning as you came from the Hamilton airport, lands that contribute more than 30% of this country’s export wealth”.
Fiona Smith said Charles picked the year exactly when he saw the black and white picture.
One of the mentors, Truila Blakely, told Charles it was important to provide moments of opportunity.
His wife has always said how brilliant he is with children, and Prince Charles did indeed show a grandfatherly touch as he played with a baby during an official tour Down Under.
Clare, 48, told Camilla about their meeting and she gestured to the prince to come over and say hello.
