Zinedine Zidane: Zidane is ready for Real Madrid job – Ancelotti

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has claimed that under-pressure manager Rafael Benitez still has his support.

Rafa Benitez had a bad weekend; Real Madrid losing 4-0 to arch-rivals Barcelona certainly wasn’t on the Spaniard’s wish list.

The report adds that Ronaldo has since told Madrid president Florentino Perez that the situation is simple: either Benitez leaves the club or he will.

“I can’t tell you what will happen in the future but what I can tell you is that we did not discuss the possibility of holding new elections for even one minute”, Perez told a news conference at the Bernabeu stadium in Madrid.

Zinedine Zidane has played down speculation that he could replace Rafa Benitez as Real Madrid head coach. I’m the coach of Castilla and Benitez is in charge of the first team.

“Real Madrid have got an easy calendar in the next three games, and it’s a good time to get points, to get the unity of the club which is something Florentino Perez has asked of the fans of Real Madrid”.

“In this moment, I see so many people speaking especially about the clubs in trouble”, Mourinho said.

Yes, the very same Carlo Ancelotti that Real binned off just six months ago.

Madrid face Shakhtar Donetsk in a Champions League fixture on Wednesday before taking on Eibar in their next La Liga fixture on Sunday. Many teams have tried for me but I preferred to stay away for a year.

“The important thing is to be happy day to day with what I’m doing, my present is Castilla”. Last year, I finished up feeling that there was something missing.

“Right now I’m with Castilla”.

“What I am doing, as I did when I was a player, I am doing bit by bit”. “We wanted to attack, press and win possession high up the pitch but things didn’t go to plan”.
