The suspect (pictured above) was described as a black male wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt.

When Gold told the suspect he wasn’t carrying any cash, he was shot, Fox8Live reported. The Gold family has asked for privacy, the Sentinel notes.
The attacker and the woman disappear off screen, before the footage shows medical student Peter Gold stop as he drives past the spot where the woman has been dragged into an SUV.
Landrieu said anyone who helps Cain elude arrest will be prosecuted.
Police urged the public to help identify the shooter, who police said should be considered armed and unsafe.
Harrison could not say whether Cain had expressed any remorse.
Police said they identified Cain after his SUV was found Sunday morning in the 2200 block of John Raphael Place.
The unarmed Gold appears to intervene, but was then told by the gunman to surrender his money, police said, according to NOLA.com.
Faculty and friends praised Gold effusively.
The gunman then took the woman’s purse and fled, police said.
Gold is now in the hospital in guarded condition. The woman was treated for minor injuries suffered during the incident and was interviewed by police on Sunday.
When the 25-year-old approached the suspect, he pointed a gun at him and demanded money.
O’Halloran added that Gold is ‘a guy who generally always has your back’.
The university and Crimestoppers have offered a $US12,500 ($17,300) reward for information leading to an indictment.
“Police worked around the clock and now he will likely spend the rest of his life in jail, as he should”, Landrieu said. “I ask that you keep Peter and his family in your thoughts and prayers”. Michele Adams, who taught Gold while he was an undergraduate sociology student, said that she was shocked to hear of the news but was not surprised that Gold would risk his own safety for someone else.
