Apple: Tech giant is reportedly preparing for massive iPhone 6s launch

Like the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, the new iPhones will have 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screens, respectively. Unit sales of the iPhone jumped 46 per cent between March and May in China, as reported by Kantar Worldpanel.

Apple is now trying to please the brain rather than the heart of users with the recently released first two segments of a new iPhone campaign.

Apple got 17.4 per cent of its revenue from China in its last full-year reporting period.

“The shell of the new smartphone is expected to be almost identical to its predecessor, reported by leaked images obtained by 9to5Mac”, reports the worldwide Business Times.

Apple moved some of its advertising in-house a year ago and began creating its own TV spots instead of using its long-standing partnership with TBWAChiatDay. While the iPhones have enjoyed enormous popularity in a number of places, it is China which emerged as the company’s biggest smartphone market to date. Apple is also considering a third assembler, Taiwan-based Wistron Corp to help produce the new phones, the paper said. At the same time, Apple’s competitors were constantly releasing new flagship smartphones that are superior to iPhone 6 when it comes to screen resolution.

Apple has put out two new ads for its iPhone, one focusing on how its hardware and software are made for each other, and one explaining how much iPhone owners love their iPhones. But there are speculations that the rumored iPhone 7 will come out in three variants. Even Forbes confirmed wthis quoting KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who also predicted that Apple would upgrade the iPhone 6S camera to 12MP.

For the June quarter, Bachman raised his iPhone sales estimate to 48 million units, but kept his estimate for Apple Watch sales unchanged at 3.5 million units.

iPhone 6s is expected to feature the next-gen Qualcomm LTE chip that could theoretically double cellular data speeds, as well as slightly improve battery life.

And it explains why Apple is so concerned with getting consumers to switch to the iPhone from Android – it’ll give Apple an opportunity to show investors that the iPhone still has room to grow. Last year, Apple relied on Hon Hai and Pegatron.
