Rumors recently suggested the Sing star had landed a cameo appearance in the third installment of the romantic comedy franchise, Bridget Jones’s Baby, and he has now addressed the speculation by sharing a photograph from his acting stint. “Loved it, you’re gonna love it too”, Sheeran captioned the black-and-white photo.

According to reports Sheeran gained favour with the film’s casting crew earlier this year, after allowing them access to one of his gigs at Croke Park in Dublin.

Meanwhile, Grey’s Anatomy actor Patrick Dempsey has joined the cast in an unknown role. “He just hopes he’ll make the final cut”.

Details about the movie are scarce, but Zellweger shared a bit about her experience filming the upcoming project in an interview with E!

“I’m having a good time”, the actress said.

The new Bridget Jones movie, which is titled Bridget Jones’s Baby, started shooting in London last month. Alongside Renee Zellweger, Colin Firth is reprising his role as Mark Darcy, but Hugh Grant will not be back as Daniel Cleaver.
