Bindi Irwin’s Dancing with the Stars journey
Because we don’t get to really see each other ’cause he’s in the middle of his season and, as I remind him all the time, ‘Babe, I have two jobs.

Andrews said that when she has a rare night off, she’s either at Madison Square Garden “cheering on my boyfriend or we are going out to a lovely dinner in NY City or calling Seamless or DoorDash [for takeout]”. This means Bindi and Derek and Nick and Sharna were at the top of the leaderboard with a 60 while Alek and Lindsay were at the bottom with a 57.
The sweet 17-year-old from Queensland wept in the arms of her partner, Derek Hough, after images of her proud parents, including the late Steve Irwin, were shown on the screen during her final dance. Even Carlos’ wife Alexa thinks her husband should win the “DWTS” Season 21 mirrorball trophy. It was quite the night.
It was one of two performances on the night for which Bindi won flawless scores from the judges – the other was a quickstep, which judge Carrie Ann Inaba acknowledged was the “most difficult” of the ones they could have chosen – fast and relentlessly upbeat with complex footwork. In the practice package, Bindi showed off black and blue bruises, while Derek battled a debilitating cough.
Alek Skarlatos and his partner Lindsay Skarlatos danced the Rumba, chosen by Carrie Ann Inaba.
“I have dedicated this entire journey to all of you and my attractive family”.
Bindi also showed her dedication during rehearsals since she was seen super-gluing her toenails, despite the nails keep falling off, and sustaining minor injuries, according to the Sydney Morning Herald. Bruno said “every aspect was gleaming like a brilliant cut diamond”, and Carrie Ann said, “A star is born”.
Here’s what fans can expect during the two-night season finale including predictions on who the final three will be and the rumored Season 21 champion.
Alek and Lindsay’s freestyle earned them 30 points. One reason Alek Skarlatos gets a lot of votes is precisely because he IS a non-dancer and non-celebrity, and without question he has improved the most of any competitor on the show.
If the first part of the two-night finale is any indication, Irwin is certainly in the running to claim the coveted Mirror Ball trophy for herself.
Then the first glimpse of the 90-minute “Dancing with the Stars: Live!”
Tuesday’s episode will see the three finalists who advance to the final stage of “DWTS” strive to win the affection of viewers and the judges when they dance a repeat routine from the season.

“She has consistently spruiked the Sunshine Coast during her performances, and with Americans’ love of Australian wildlife and nature, and Bindi’s earthy, genuine character, her impact has been incredible”. Bindi lost it, I lost it, the judges lost it. “You dance from the heart and you touched everybody’s soul”. That gorgeous dance ended with a massive photo of Bindi and her dad, and not a dry eye in the house.
