“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” Grabs $50 Million Before Release
There’s been loads of mystery about how Luke Skywalker would be included in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and it came out that he’s under a massively complex non-disclosure agreement (NDA) that prevents him from talking specifics to keep the mystery alive.

No surprise here, but apparently “The Force Awakens” has already racked up more than $50 million in advance ticket sales in North America, according to the Hollywood Reporter, with IMAX accounting for a third of all tickets.
Anyone who’s been keeping up with the news about Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens knows that one of the biggest mysteries thus far is concerning what has become of the franchise’s biggest hero, Luke Skywalker.
Advance tickets sales for the J.J. Abrams directed “The Force Awakens” are double the previous record set by “The Dark Knight Rises”.
Now, the results of all the furious fan-scrambling have been revealed and The Force Awakens has already sold $50 million worth of tickets a month before the movie even opens. Instead, most movies rake in ticket sales within the final two weeks of the year, particularly the sweet spot between the Christmas and New Year weekends.
So far the footage has been viewed more than 564,000 times on YouTube so it looks like the stunt was successful in getting the word out.
Each cap features a complex multi-layered construction of high gloss panels metallic overlays and intricate embroidery making each iteration of the collector’s edition pack a must-have for any Star Wars aficionado.
