University of Cincinnati redshirt senior Parker Ehinger was named to the watch list for the 70th Annual Outland Trophy by the Football Writers Association of America on Friday. The award is given annually to the nation’s top interior lineman. The membership includes journalists, broadcasters and publicists, as well as key executives in all the areas that involve the game.

Garnett, a senior guard, started all 13 games last season as Stanford posted the 18th-best tackles for loss allowed mark in the country (4.62/game).
A preseason second team All-Big Ten selection by both Athlon Sports and Phil Steele, Ott was named second team All-Big Ten by league media following the 2014 campaign.
Moreau, a second-team all-conference selection, was a starter in all 13 games. Roderick Johnson was named to the Outland Trophy Watch List which is presented to the nation’s most outstanding interior lineman. The FWAA has named a National Defensive Player of the Year since 1993. After moving from defensive end to defensive tackle in 2014, Zettel enjoyed his most productive season on the field in the blue and white.
Woods, a first-team All-Conference United States of America safety, finished second on the team with 71 tackles. He recorded 65 stops, 4.5 TFLs one sack and three interceptions as a sophomore in 2013 after seeing limited action on defense and special teams as a true freshman in 2012. Drango averaged a team-high 88.5 percent coaches grade and 39 knockdowns on the season.
The trio’s inclusion gives Baylor at least one watch list member for the Outland honor for three straight years. The FWAA All-America Committee will then select the victor who is recognized as the best defensive player in college football.
The victor of the Outland Trophy is chosen from three finalists who are a part of the FWAA All-America Team. Committee members, then by individual ballot, select the victor.
The FWAA will announce a Bronko Nagurski National Defensive Player of the Week each Tuesday throughout the season and, in conjunction with the Charlotte Touchdown Club, announce five finalists for the 2015 Bronko Nagurski Trophy on November 19. Finalists will be named November 24. He was also one of 12 semifinalists for the Lombardi Award (college lineman of the year) and one of 20 quarterfinalists for the Lott IMPACT Trophy. The reigning Bronko Nagurski Trophy victor ranked in the top five among FBS players for total tackles (163), tackles for loss (29.0), sacks (14.0) and forced fumbles (6) in 2014.
