Black Lives Matter protester attacked by Donald Trump supporters at rally

Critics say Trump primed and revved up the crowd, both by calling for his supporters to toss Southall out, but also by previously warning that if Black Lives Matter protesters showed up at one his rallies, they will have a fight on their hands.

At the same rally on Saturday, Mr Trump was interrupted by a demonstrator from the Black Lives Matter movement. CNN’s Jared Diamond caught the incident on camera and tweeted a video of it. “Throw him out!” while the crowd applauds and cheers.

Rally attendees circled the man while kicking and punching him as he falls to the ground. But the Washington Post said, that is simply not true.

The original plan had been to protest outside the event entrance with roughly a dozen other activists, but police outside the event moved them away from the entrance. Another brawl in August stemming from Trump’s immigration speech led to the arrest of two Trump supporters. One man was placed in handcuffs Thursday after shouting “Trump’s a racist”, and another man who yelled out while the candidate discussed cutting food stamps was escorted out of the building. Christie, to his credit, said in reference to conservative critics, “I’m exhausted of dealing with the crazies”. “They love this country and they want this country to be great again”.

From the start, Donald Trump’s presidential campaign has taken exaggeration and lies that are part of the campaign trail to a level we haven’t seen before in American politics, according to NBC News’ First Read team.

He later clarified his remarks about the database, saying that there should be a register of refugees.

But it appears that comment would be short-lived.

“I got punched in the face, I got punched in the neck”. “I punched back. You know don’t do the turn-the-other-cheek (expletive)”.

Trump campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks told CNN on Saturday that “the campaign does not condone this behavior”. He continued saying (on an interview with Fox & Friends Sunday morning): “Maybe he should have been roughed up”.

“I don’t know. Rough up?” “It was absolutely disgusting what he was doing”. I do not remember that. “I don’t know if I’ll do the fighting myself, or if other people will”. “This was a very obnoxious guy who was a trouble-maker who was looking to make trouble”.

Trump said earlier that he recalls Arab Americans cheering the destruction of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. “He went insane. It’s wonderful”, Trump said. It caused a scene and Trump attacked the media for showing that instead of staying focused on him.
