Kevin Bacon Will Star in a New ‘Tremors’ TV Series
He’s had an unbelievable career and he’s only six degrees away from everyone on earth, but Kevin Bacon’s true masterpiece is arguably still Tremors.

Bacon would return to the series not only as an actor but as an executive producer.
The one thing “Tremors” fans have been waiting for is finally about to happen. After ditching the series following the 1990 movie, Bacon’s keen to get back in the saddle for a TV series that’s recently entered development. “Tremors” gave birth to three direct-to-video sequels and a prequel, as well as the short-lived “Tremors: The Series”, which aired in 2003 on the Sci-Fi Channel.
Will you tune in for a new Tremors tv series?
Blumhouse, who Bacon has done a couple of micro-budget horror flicks with, is producing the series.
Personally, my two biggest concerns about this new series are this: Will they use practical effects for the graboids?

Universal Cable Productions and Blumhouse Productions are developing the Tremors reboot, with Andrew Miller (The Secret Circle) to write the adaptation. No network is attached yet, but UCP says multiple bidders are interested in the project. Bacon was only attached to the original. At this point, you gotta have at least Burt Gummer involved.
