Cain faces several charges including attempted first-degree murder.
Gold steps back into camera range with his hands up.
Tuesday’s hearing also provided new details about the shooting.
An Orleans Criminal Court judge today denied bond for Euric Cain, the suspect in the shooting of Tulane University medical student Peter Gold.
Moreover, the footage showed that the shooter tried to fix the gun and attempted to fire at Gold’s head again, but the gun did not fire. The police said his condition is improving, according to the Advocate.
The student fell to the sidewalk and curled into a ball. “(Cain) re-enters the gray vehicle and flees the scene”.
The report said Washington told detectives she did not turn him in because she “did not want to get Mr. Cain in trouble and that she was afraid to say something”. The police special operations team together with US marshals tracked Cain, and then he was eventually arrested inside his house.
The woman was treated for minor injuries.

Peter Gold, the 25-year-old Tulane medical student shot while trying to stop an armed robbery last week in the Lower Garden District, has been upgraded to stable condition, his family said in a statement released by the university. We also ask that everyone continue to respect the Gold family’s need for privacy.
