IS shows photo of plane bomb
Islamic State has published an image of the homemade explosive device it claims downed a Russian passenger plane in Egypt’s Sinai region in late October, killing all 224 passengers on board.

The photo, which appeared in ISIS publication Dabiq, is of a Schweppes Gold soft drink can and what appeared to be a detonator and switch for an improvised explosive device.
