Jose Mourinho upbeat over Chelsea’s Champions League chances
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is pleased that his squad’s confidence is slowly returning following Saturday’s 1-0 win over Norwich City at Stamford Bridge.

Mourinho said at his pre-match press conference on Monday: “We are focused on what we have to do”.
“For us it is a really important day”, he added.
Tel Aviv are facing English opposition in Europe for just the fourth time overall, they have scored just one goal and conceded nine in the previous three games.
Brought in from the wing to play behind the main striker, Hazard was a blur of movement against Norwich, full of the mazy dribbles and intricate touches that marked him out as the league’s best player last season.
Chelsea’s academy players should fight to break into the first team, manager Jose Mourinho has said, while defending the way in which he is using the youngsters.
Tel-Aviv, managed by former Watford boss Slavisa Jokanovic, have not won a single point in the Champions League this season. “We are focused on what we have to do”.
If Dynamo loses on the road to Porto in Portugal, Chelsea would only need a draw against Tel Aviv, which was already eliminated.
Tel Aviv goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic kept his side in the match with quick successive stops of Eden Hazard and Cesar Azpilicueta, and it took Chelsea more than half an hour to double its lead, when Willian curled in a free kick. How can we qualify for the Champions League?
The Blues have won just two of their last 10 away games in the Champions League (D5 L3), scoring more than one goal just once in that run.
“We have destiny in our hands”.
With Courtois injured and the defenders underperforming, that hasn’t been the case this term, and instead we have seen chopping and changing with the likes of Kurt Zouma and Kenedy given chances instead.
“We’ll certainly take the 1-0 and we have something to build upon now.” said Terry after the team’s third clean sheet of the season.
