Danny Amendola has knee sprain, not expected to miss
New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola suffered a knee sprain during Monday night’s game against the Buffalo Bills and may be able to play this weekend.

The NFL Network’s Albert Breer reported Tuesday morning that Amendola is scheduled to have an MRI on his knee to further evaluate the injury, but FOX Sports’ Mike Garafolo followed up saying the team is optimistic that the injury is not serious. If he doesn’t make the requisite progress, the potential exists for Amendola to miss a game, but he isn’t expected to log extended time on the sideline.
The Patriots were left with just two healthy wide receivers Monday night when Amendola and Dobson went down. As Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald reported, X-rays of Dobson’s foot showed no broken bones, but the extent of any ligament damage will dictate how long he’ll be down.
New England was already without some key weapons on the offensive end with wide receivers Julian Edelman and Keshawn Martin inactive and scat back Dion Lewis out for the season with a torn ACL.

However based on Curran’s report, it sounds like Amendola may be ready for the Broncos game, which will help the Pats get closer towards clinching home field advantage.
