The Unauthorized Friday Night Lights Musical Will Star a Familiar Face

Friday Night Lights is getting the musical treatment, y’all. Be that as it may, there’s now one more to add to the pile – the high school football drama and feelings-fest that is Friday Night Lights, which is making its way to the stage next year.

We now welcome suggestions of other musical numbers, how many seasons of the show the musical should cover, and whether or not they should just ignore the Tyra/Landry murder plot from season 2. Writers Jordan Ross and Lindsey Rosin (Sucker Punch Productions) – the duo behind The Unauthorized Musical Parody Of Cruel Intentions and The Unauthorized O.C. Musical – announced their latest project on Twitter.

But casting isn’t the only fun to be had in an unauthorized musical. “Every day counts. One night matters”, The FNL Musical account tweeted on Tuesday. A chorus of single moms can sing about hooking up with Tim Riggins.
