There have been rumors that the show will feature a new Doctor for the series coming soon, particularly a female heroine this time.
It’s also worth noting that Clara is once again in the orange space suit David Tennant made famous back in series 2 and the Doctor appears to be getting the chance to show case his musical talents with a guitar. The minute and a half trailer ended with a shot of Maisie Williams, famous for portraying Arya Stark in HBO’s “Game of Thrones”, smiling and asking, “What took you so long, old man?” “The Doctor is a bleeding heart liberal and I like to kill a lot of people for fun”. “We live in a world where everyeone’s so easy and everything’s so accessible, and the Doctor’s mysterious!”
The new series of Doctor Who starts on 19 September on BBC One.
Who is this (at least) two-faced, three-armed person, playing a four-handed solo card game and drinking for three?
Moffat said that Missy isn’t the Doctor’s archenemy and he added that the idea of them being friends dates back several Doctors and several decades.
The cast and crew of BBC One’s hugely-popular TV drama series “Doctor Who” arrived at the Comic Con 2015 to dish some details about the upcoming 9th season of the show. “They just don’t talk unless it’s specifically germane to the plot”, Moffat said.
“The most awesome thing that happens is that I get the affection of the whole 50 years pointed in my direction”, Capaldi said. “I’d do anything for a laugh”. “She has to come at it from a different angle, which is surprising and exciting to play”, teased Gomez.
Peter Capaldi said: “We had to make sure she didn’t give us any GoT spoilers, we didn’t want to know anything at all“. “It would be the best program ever!”

To close out the panel, Hardwick revealed that Nerdist is producing a Doctor Who special that will be broadcast on BBC America next month.
