Hillary Rodham Clinton takes on western issues – not entirely
The Democratic presidential candidate’s campaign announced she will be appearing Wednesday, December 2, at a “grassroots event in Orlando in order to help build support ahead of the March 15 Florida Primary”.

The results mark very little change from a similar survey released October 23. But now she says she wants to stop deportations, provide a path to citizenship for those people here illegally and give them driver’s licenses.
In a roundtable discussion with Nevada newspaper reporters on Monday, Hillary Rodham Clinton took on key western states issues including the drought, ownership of public lands and the 1872 mining law.
“I’m going to be a good partner with the states”, she said.
Clinton, during a subsequent rally in Boulder, said the USA was “fighting for human rights and dignity and freedom” against terrorism and said the US was justified in allowing refugees to enter the US after a “strong vetting process”. Clinton kicked off both speeches by citing economic prosperity during Democratic presidencies.
A top Clinton adviser was in Denver earlier this month to encourage caucus organizing.
About 47% of the Democrats polled said Sanders would best handle the economy, while 42% said they believed Clinton would.
“On behalf of the organization I founded, Define American, and the 11.7 million undocumented immigrants in this country – including myself – I am asking all the presidential candidates to recognize that #wordsmatter by committing to not using the term “illegal” when referencing the undocumented population”, Vargas wrote on Facebook.
But when asked about the fracas in a Telemundo Facebook chat, Clinton apologized.
Clinton replied, “I have just one word for Mr. Trump: Basta”.

The new poll said Sanders continues to maintain high favorable ratings, as 81 percent of Iowa Democrats see him favorably and only 7 percent disagree. Sanders topped Clinton 92 to 80 percent for caring about voters’ needs and problems. While there are T-shirts for several states around us – Nebraska, Utah, Wyoming, Oklahoma and New Mexico, there’s no Colorado state T-shirt listed in the last two days. They note that she’s avoided vilifying their industry as has Sanders, who recent described their business model as “fraud” or even President Barack Obama, who angered some of his donors when he called Wall Street investors as “a bunch of fat cat bankers” in a 2009 interview.
