“We want to forge a more ambitious, modern partnership, harnessing our strengths and working together for the long term to help shape our fortunes at home and overseas in the 21st century”, he said.
Referring to PM Modi’s “Acche Din” slogan, Cameron said “I would like to say having seen your energy and vision, I will go a step further and say “Acche Din Zaroor Ayenge”.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today expressed satisfaction as he concluded his United Kingdom visit, saying that it will transform the ties between both nations.
“It is his government which has sullied India’s image as a favoured destination because of forces which have been unleashed and which have been given protection and endorsement by Modi”, Sharma said.
Nobel Prize victor Rushdie, recent Booker prize shortlisted British-Indian author Neel Mukherjee and other well-known names like Ian McEwan and Hari Kunzru were among the signatories of the open letter to Cameron. “We will generate 175 gigawatts of power one day”, he said. “We’ve got 60,000 people but we had at least 100,000 more people wanting to register”. Modi and his British counterpart David Cameron “stressed the importance of a lasting and inclusive constitutional settlement in Nepal that will address the remaining areas of concern and promote political stability and economic growth”, the paper said. The prime minister said that by 2019, the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, he would ensure that there was 24 hours of electricity all over the country.
Modi said, “You are the true ambassadors of India”.

“We completely reject the claim that he improved India’s credibility”, senior Congress leader Anand Sharma said, adding that by repeating this in different countries, the prime minister was only embarrassing the country.
