College Students Shock Rahul Gandhi
All started with Rahul Gandhi’s college quiz where he asked students ‘Is Clean India a success?’ And most astonishingly, student replied, YES.

Faulting the government for the “way it was operating”, Rahul Gandhi said Modi had promised creation of two crore jobs a year. Visibly taken aback, he asked, “You see it working? They also said subjects like farmers” suicide in the state and the inefficient handling of garbage disposal in Bengaluru were not among questions posed to the Congress leader, as such questions were not allowed as per the brief given to them. I mean, are we serious?
# “Suit boot” is failing, completely.
To a question on the youth opting for the Aam Aadmi Party and BJP rather than the Congress, Mr Gandhi admitted: “In 10 years, there was some fatigue with the Congress. There were some things we did wrong…and we lost the elections”.
The embarrassment for the Congress vice-president came in the middle of a fresh round of attacks he launched on Modi, saying one man decides everything in the NDA government.
Rahul Gandhi was not seen in Parliament at a time when the Budget Session was on and the historic Land Acquisition Bill met with deadlock, forcing BJP to trade blame game against his stoic silence and absence during the period.
But the big stumping question came when a student said that the Congress has not learnt its lessons. He said the Congress was in favour of the Bill, but wanted some amendments in the legislation proposed by the BJP, including a cap on the tax that would be levied. “Rahul Gandhi will have to determine and make up his mind whether he would like to join the movement where positive change is taking place in India”, Kohli told ANI.
# How can one person have all the answers?
He asked, “Let’s ask another question”. I don’t see a clear direction. I want you all to be part of the decision making process in the country. One man alone can not transform the country.
# The idea that only certain people have the answers is what I’m against.

“… (Rahul ji) believes in democratic functioning of the country, the right to agree or disagree”, Surjewala said. “That is what I fight for”, he said to the students of the girls’ college.
