Syrian Refugee Gives Back To Germany By Feeding Their Homeless

Having lost everything in his homeland, one Syrian refugee has not lost his heart and generosity.

A refugee has been photographed handing out hot meals to the homeless in Germany to “give something back to the people that helped” him.

Since August, he has been setting up meal stations in different parts of Berlin to serve free food to the city’s homeless. The payment is only is a little over 350 euros a month, according to media estimates.

‘His motto is: “Give something back to the German people”. He spent a few years in Libya and then moved to Germany in 2014.

These boys are doing all this because they want to give back to their community for giving them a home after they fled Syria.

A sign erected by Alex explains he is working as part of the Christian Syrian-German Project, dedicated to helping the homeless and others in need.

His sign reads: “I wish to give something back to the German people”. In just three days, her post went viral and caught media attention, garnering hundreds of shares since Sunday. ‘Alex and me are really overwhelmed by this feedback, we got messages from people all over the world, ‘ she wrote.

Bü wrote: “God bless him so HE is a blessing for so many more people!”. Soon after, they joined their local mosque which encouraged them to volunteer at their annual Day of Dignity, where they began handing out sleeping bags, food and other items to hundreds of homeless people, many of whom are war veterans.

‘We both never imagined what this little post could do, but we are happy that we did bring a little light into the world’.
