Scream Queens Recap: Thanksgiving at the Kappa House
After being kidnapped, Zayday chose to take matters into her own hands after it took her friends too long to find her. Grace (Skyler Samuels), Pete (Diego Boneta), Wes (Oliver Hudson), Gigi (Nasim Pedrad) and Denise (Niecy Nash) found the Red Devil’s layer but he escaped before they could find out who he was.

The episode begins with Chanel (Emma Roberts) revealing to Chad (Glen Powell) that she killed Hester (Lea Michele) so she could stop interfering with their relationship. I’m excited for the final 2 episodes. Chanel takes him to the meat locker, but of course Hester’s body isn’t there.
Thanksgiving, despite the limited appearance by the Red Devil, actually gave a lot away about the identity of the murderer. Last night’s episode was light on blood and gore, but heavy on Red Devil suspicions, expositions, and theories from the surviving characters. “Dinner” is simply their family’s frozen food line’s Thanksgiving meal.
When she arrives back to KKT, Chanel #3 hears the sounds of aggressive chopping.
During the tenth episode of Scream Queens the consensus was that one of the killers was actually Dean Munsch (played by Jamie Lee Curtis). He hasn’t heard from Gigi and he was hoping Grace could stop by for even a moment before she left to go visit Zayday’s family. Julia Duffy steals this scene, not wanting either Chanel or Hester to ruin her family family name. We are also introduced to Chad’s siblings, Thad (Patrick Schwarzenegger) and Brad (Chad Michael Murray), and Brad’s wife Muffy (Rachele Brooke Smith). But Killer Grace still seems unlikely, unless we learn even more of her secrets (and with three eps to go, that better happen ASAP). Chanel does the honors of revealing the turkey, but when she does, she finds no turkey at all. She is in shock but the evidence against her is pretty damning.
How’s that? Yeah, everyone who headed home for the holiday (including Chanel Number Three, who flounces out of her rich-jerk family’s literal TV dinner meal in disgust) eventually makes it back to the house before turkey time, where Dean Munsch has been busily prepping the bird she “pardoned” the day before. Her first guess is Chanel No. 3, who she claims must be the killer since her father is Charles Manson. Well that seemed to be the case for one Kappa who made her big return this week.
Wes’s next piece of evidence shows the glaringly obvious inconsistencies in the writing for this show. Recently, FOX delivered the new, official synopsis/spoilers for their upcoming “Scream Queens” episode 11 of season 1, and it sounds very intense and dramatic as the Red Devil shows up again to crash Black Friday, and more! Suspicous? Her alibi is that her family left for the Maldives without her and she takes seat at the Kappa Thanksgiving. Since her ex-husband’s family still believes she is responsible for the death of her ex-husband she was not so surprisingly uninvited to Thanksgiving. Completely messing up a previously shown scene in a television show is a huge no-no. She calls her mother for sympathy and advice but her mother is drunk, saddening Chanel. There isn’t much time to talk, as it’s now time for a traditional game of Pictionary. Not only does she complain about everything Chanel does in Kappa but she also has the worst alibies.
However, the twisted game of “Who is the killer” is not over.

Back at the Kappa house, it seemed like a happy little Thanksgiving dinner! That can only mean one thing – the bathtub babies/Red Devils are his.
