Bindi Irwin Wins Dancing with the Stars Season 21

Rumor also has it that Sharna Burgess, who has quickly become a fan – but maybe not the judge’s – favorite won’t be returning after her second place finish with Nick Carter.

In the finals, Irwin beat out singer Nick Carter, Army National Guard Specialist Alek Skarlatos, and actor and singer Carlos PenaVega.

The 17-year-old TV presenter and her professional partner Derek Hough snapped up the coveted Mirrorball Trophy after they were dished out a flawless 30 by the judges for their captivating routine dedicated to her late father Steve. More importantly, it’s just been so special with Bindi.

“My mom says any time Dad would watch me dance around the zoo that he would cry”, Irwin said. “I love coming to visit, because my mum’s family is from OR”, she shares.

Her optimistic manner, fearless approach and surprising skill had impressed judges and viewers.

Bindi Irwin has won Season 21 of “Dancing With The Stars”. No, I am so honoured and so blessed to be here.

Irwin acknowledged to USA Today how dramatically her life had changed in the few months since she finished a crocodile-research trip in Australia and traveled to Hollywood for the dance competition.

Before the performance, Bindi announced that it was never easy to reflect on her father and his legacy. Irwin told Us Magazine when the showed ended. They deserved it and she was incredible this season! Watching the stars improve week after week is the best part of “DWTS” and Irwin’s adaptability, coupled with her too-cute-for-words smile, pretty much made her a shoe-in. “What a ideal way to finish a flawless season with a ideal person #DWTS #thechampishere #season21dwts”, Derek revealed on his personal Instagram page yesterday after winning the trophy once again.

One of the biggest complaints people have about Dancing with the Stars is that sometimes the stars aren’t actually all that famous.
