According to NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport, an assailant pulled up alongside Bailey’s vehicle and started shooting, per a source informed of the incident.

Tuesday night, the wide receiver was reportedly shot two times in the head.

Bailey was in intensive care and in stable condition at a Miami area hospital after undergoing a surgical procedure that Rams coach Jeff Fisher said lasted 4-6 hours.

Reeves was in the driver seat and is in stable but critical condition, according to a separate statement from police.

Fisher said, “We’re just waiting to get some more information on the specifics of the injury”.

The Miami Gardens police gave the same condition for Bailey, adding that “Reeves was taken into surgery shortly upon arriving at the hospital”.

Bailey’s cousin was also shot as he tried to protect the children who were also in the vehicle with them.

Bailey is now serving a four-game suspension that began November 9 for violating the National Football League substance-abuse policy. Reeves has life-threatening injuries.

The shooting occurred while Bailey was sitting in a auto with family members in Miami Gardens, Florida, where Bailey grew up. Police also said, “The victims drove themselves to an area hospital for evaluation and treatment”.

Bailey is a wide receiver for the St. Louis Rams.

A Florida man who killed his wife and posted a photo of the bloody corpse on Facebook was convicted Wednesday of second-degree murder after failing to convince a jury that he shot her eight times in self-defense.

“I was aware of where he was”. The other passenger and the two children were unharmed.

There was blood on the sidewalk outside a home along the 19800 block of Northwest 38th Place in Miami Gardens.

Before being drafted in the third round by Rams in 2013, Bailey enjoyed a record-setting junior season in 2012 at West Virginia where he set a record with 1,622 receiving yards and 25 TDs.

This season, Bailey has 12 receptions for 182 yards and one touchdown.

Fisher said it was “highly unlikely” that Bailey would play again this year. He’s eligible to return to the Rams’ active roster on December 7, one day after the team plays the Arizona Cardinals.
