Currys PC World is expecting such a surge of interest on Black Friday it’s inviting customers to register their interest weeks in advance.

Black Friday will happen on Friday, November 27 with some shops opening as early as 5am and lots of online retailers will be starting their deals the night before so keep your eyes open.

There is likely to be bad news for Apple fans, however: the iPad and iPhone manufacturer is not expected to be offering any special Black Friday discounts on its products this year, which makes retailers less likely to do so. To take advantage of these, you’ll have to head to your local high street or retail park and take your chances with the crowds.

Plenty of consumers will choose to stay at home and use safe shopping online to seek out the best deals.

Walmart will be offering the 32-inch TCL 720p LED Roku HDTV for only $125, down from its $260 suggested retail pricing, a $135 savings and that’s more than half the price of its regular price. This is an LED Smart HDTV that was originally priced for much more than this.

John Lewis outlined their own preparations in a statement: “We are doing all that we can to ensure that we are well prepared for Black Friday”.

“You can get an Element 49” LED TV which runs in 1080p for $169.99 which is a huge savings of $300 and also comes with 3 HDMI inputs. Two years ago, most 4K TVs were $7,000 or more.

In an effort to outdo each other, a number of brands including Amazon and AO.com have offered Black Friday promotions since Monday.

If you’ve got a smartphone, be sure to download the Amazon mobile app in a bid to get the best deals while you’re on the move. For more, check LG’s Black Friday deals online.
