First promo for Game of Thrones Season 6 is revalatory!

Still, the poster doesn’t offer absolute confirmation that Jon Snow shouldn’t be included in Game of Thrones’ long, long in memoriam video.

In a recent interview Harrington addressed the rumors that Jon Snow was still alive and stated, “I’ve been told I’m dead”.

HBO took to Twitter to tease us with what to expect when the first episode of season 6 begins in April 2016, including a photo of Snow with a face full of blood.

The cliffhanger at the end of “Game of Thrones” Season 5 made it seem as if Jon Snow had been killed. Some have noted that his eyes change color right before the final frame of the last season, a small (and frankly wobbly) indication that he’s part of author George R.R. Martin’s larger plans for the book.

Whether Jon Snow is actually alive or dead is still not known in a series that is woven through with dark magic, sorcery and the mysterious “White Walkers”, an army of the undead.

Plus, it would be pretty morose to trot out a corpse on a poster for a new television season if that corpse wasn’t reanimated.

While another celebrated: “JON SNOW IS ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE”. Plus, it was previously reported that he will be coming back to battle the House of Boltons.

It remains unknown what this revelation might mean – a popular fan theory is that Snow will be resurrected by Melisandre but will lose a piece of his soul in the process.

HBO revealed the first poster for “Game of Thrones” season 6. There’s also the fact that Harington has been spotted on a GoT set, in Jon Snow gear. Van Houten said of her character’s appearance in the season 5 finale. Game of Thrones is now the highest rated and most watched show on air. However, HBO is yet to confirm it. Watch this space for more scoops on Game of Thrones. The announcement puts to bed the rumors that the new season won’t premiere until much later than usual this year and thankfully we finally have a month to look forward to.
