Even Liverpool recently have expressed an interest to sign Icardi and now according to reports from the Metro, the Reds have moved ahead of Chelsea in the race to sign the striker.
Liverpool are ninth in the standings with 20 points from 13 games.
Milner said: “I think that is a nice problem for the manager to have”. It’s one thing going after the ball at 100 miles an hour, but when you win it you have to be calm and play and be that bit more patient which we can do at times a bit better.
Carragher told Sky Sports News: “You could see the work that had been done during the week. That is what you saw all day”, Carragher added.

Asked about what had changed for Liverpool since the dismissal last month of predecessor Brendan Rodgers, Klopp replied: “For us it’s not important what’s different”.
“But I think we showed on the pitch what we are able to do and how good we can be”.
Honest and outspoken Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reaffirmed his commitment in guiding the club from his its mediocre statues to an elite pedigree.
However, there could be some good news as despite the Mirror’s take on things, the Liverpool Echo are reporting that Coutinho’s hamstring is only a minor strain and he could be fit to face Swansea this weekend.

“This is a player who at the start of the season wasn’t in the 18”, he said. “That was apparent from the first 10 minutes when they were off the pace slightly”. But under Klopp if you can close someone down it doesn’t matter who is behind you. He knew that there was only limited time to get his methods across if this season was going to be salvaged.
