Chicago has most certainly improved since the Packers last saw them, but Thanksgiving night at Lambeau might be too special.

Though playing at Lambeau Field usually means defeat, the Bears and their fans must remember that Detroit waltzed in there a couple weeks ago with zero wins in their resume and pulled off the upset of the season.
Favre attended a “Chalk Talk” charity event to raise funds for Rawhide, a charity serving at-risk youth started by Bart Starr in the 1960s when he was a Packers quarterback. Expected to return from injury, RB Matt Forte has averaged 150.8 scrimmage yards per game in his past five against the Pack (754 yards).
The ceremony is the culmination of a season-long reconciliation between Favre and the organization following a messy split with Favre indecisive about retirement.
Starr’s No. 15 was retired by the team in 1973. Favre was replaced by Rodgers, a first-round draft pick who was the backup for three years.
“The closer I got to Lambeau, the tougher it got”, Favre said.
It’s a process that has been years in the making.

Starr, 81, is already in the hall. He finally looked like his old self and will continue his play moving forward. “So that’s why I wanted to come to this game”, she said.
“It’s always fun being around him, but he’s such a positive, encouraging person”. It’s a great story, but the pressure for him to write that story exactly how people had written it before the game … it was a lot of pressure on him.
With each team playing this past Sunday, it is a short week for preparation. Jeffery missed his fifth game of the season in Week 11 due to groin and shoulder injuries, but despite his limited appearances he still leads the Bears with 515 receiving yards and two touchdowns. “Not only will we get to see Brett Favre tonight, but we know we’re doing a great thing by helping out Rawhide”. The Green Bay Packers are tied for the lead in the division with the Minnesota Vikings, whom they defeated last week after an excellent performance by their defense, holding Adrian Pederson to 45 yards, while Aaron Rodgers threw two touchdowns in the win.
Meeting time and mental preparation is of utmost importance with the short turnaround. It is a huge game for the Packers since Brett Favre will be having his number retired, and the defense will want to step up on the emotional night to stop a strong Chicago defense and secure a win for the franchise.
